Routen Chaplin commenced business with one over-riding concept - to provide the best service and advice to clients both large and small, keeping premiums low, the cover wide, and to ensure the payment of all valid claims.

Routen Chaplin was incorporated in 1964, and over 45 years later continues to be a privately owned company, fiercely independent of any outside control. We now have two controlling directors, with departmental managers in the specialised areas, and over 30 well trained, friendly and helpful staff.

We serve clients mainly in the broad East Midlands Area, but also around the UK and the world. Despite our continuous growth, mainly by recommendation, we have maintained our "Out of City" location, which is very close to the M1 (Jnc 25), with speedy access to Nottingham and Derby and easy parking.

In addition to our FSA and DCA regulation and authorisation, we are also members of the Commercial Broking Alliance (COBRA) and Countrywide which gives us preferred access to many specialist facilities.
